Hi Markus / all,
Is there any way to check whether it is an openssl problem?
I got the same error message... the installation runs on a standard debian
3.1 system with 0.9.7e... I tried compiling/installing it with 0.9.8e and
0.9.7m, still the same. The tools- binaries are also in openssl/bin, where
all the other bins are, along with the correct path settings for the
openca-sv program.
Is there any other tests I can do?

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Hi again.

Finally I got it working. Turned out it was an openssl version problem.

I installed OpenSSL 0.9.7e from source and reinstalled openca-tools and
openca and now it works.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Markus
