                     Leadership of OpenCard

This is a call for discussion of who shall lead the OpenCard project in the
areas of collaboration, user interface, and programming. Collaboration
shall be defined as handling the mailing lists, web site, and other
informational and discussion resources. Programming shall be defined as
assigning writing sections of code, accepting patches, and making design
decisions in OpenCard as so far as they relate to writing code. It shall
also include create official builds of OpenCard. User Interface shall be
defined as the overall look and feel of OpenCard. It shall include the
approval of the look and feel of any official builds.

The below mentioned are nominated and listed in the order of nomination:

        Programming:
                Anthony DeRobertis
                M. Uli Kusterer (who wants VP, only)
                Michael Fair

        Collaboration:
                Alain Farmer
                Michael Fair
                Adrian Sutton

        User Interface:
                Anthony DeRobertis
                M. Uli Kusterer (who wants VP, only)

A change has been made in that the two people receiving the most votes in
any given category are elected. The person with the most votes becomes
President; the other, Vice President. If someone is elected President who
only wants VP, switch the two (since he does not want that office).

These are merely nominations and other nominations may (and should!) be
made. A call for votes will be issued when the discussion dies down, and no
sooner than Saturday, May 15, 1999. Note the new date.

Vote will be by an election and any run-offs that prove necessary. A person
may vote "Other" and optionally fill in a name. In the event of an
anonymous other winning, we've got a problem.
