The company that owns these trademarks services as a
non-profit professional standards organization which
intends to produce, extend, and to assist in the
acceptance and use of open card framework
specifications to promote and accelerate smart card
interoperability across computing platforms at the
point of card use, and to simplify application
development.
Alain: And we already know that OpenCard is also the
name of a software title currently being marketed.
