Eric modified by Alain: Said engine - if and when it
is completed - shall be freeware, and shall be
distributed pursuant to a license to be agreed upon.

Alain: Not any more !

Alain: No PROFIT motive rather than no commercial
motive. Our group may eventually carry on some
activities that are for money, in order to better
finance our collaboration. We could, for example, do
like RedHat does (value-added resale) so as to pay for
things like registering our trademark.

Alain: Eric tells me that it is always better to
specify as much as you can in writing and in advance,
instead of omitting things and thus leaving things
ambiguous and hence more risky.
