Hello again,

> Either manually set proper values for your monitor

I am not an expert in configuring X, but I have tried out to manually
set the values by adding

HorizSync 30-80
VertRefresh 30-100

in the xorg.conf. Then the output is a little bit different (without the
message "vrefresh out of range"):

...
(II) CHROME(0): monitor0: Using default hsync range of 30.00-80.00 kHz
(II) CHROME(0): monitor0: Using default vrefresh range of 30.00-100.00
Hz
(II) CHROME(0): Clock range: 20.00 to 230.00 MHz
(II) CHROME(0): ViaValidMode: Validating 640x350 (31500)
(II) CHROME(0): ViaModePrimaryVGAValid
(II) CHROME(0): Not using default mode "320x175" (bad mode
clock/interlace/doublescan)
...

But below there is "hsync out of range" anymore.

Which ranges are needed by openchrome?

> or fix the conf to allow the monitor to send its EDID.

How can I do this?

Regards,

TC
