Greg,

This is fine by me. I was supposed to help submit some ReadMe's for different platforms and compiling, but I'd like to see an example of what you need. The platform specific README's that exist for running DX may only need minor fixes.

David

Sorry about the delay here.

I'm not a big fan of branching (though to be honest me experience is with
RCS; this cound be easier with CVS for all I know). Somewhere down the
line the branch and the main line will have to be brought back together -
that means more work, and for that matter deciding when to do it.

Some time ago we almost decided to declare 4.0.10 to be OK and promote it
to 4.1.0, but never followed through. How about we do that, and then open
things up wide again? What do y'all think?

Subject: [opendx-dev] When to start submitting a large number of fixes?

I know things are trying to solidify for 4.0.10, so can we start a
new branch in the CVS? I'm ready to start submitting compiler warning
fixes, etc. This would be a whole bunch of files.

Thanks,
David
