Greg, actually SGI OpenGL SI 1.2.1 comes too with Cygwin. Checkout
ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/cygwin/xfree/contrib. I have Cygwin ported
SGI OpenGL SI source code as well as binaries too in there. BTW: Mesa
has incomplete libGLU therefore Paul Brian recommends using libGLU from SGI
OpenGL SI.
The Cygwin port of SGI OpenGL SI is also mentioned at SGI URL at
http://oss.sgi.com/projects/ogl-sample/news.html

I agree! The CVS code from latest CVS built just fine on my RedHat Linux
7.1 (Beta 4) and with MSVC. I have not tested Cygwin build yet, but I am
sure
it will.
