Since you brought it up, are we ready to push this into 4.1.2? I have
all the notes listing changes ready to be added before the release. I
think its time. Some AIX 4.3 users have been asking me when its going
to happen, etc. It has enough fixes that now would make sense, before
adding any new code (Jeff's new regrid stuff, your new distributed,
etc.)

Yes, it is possible to build OpenDX using freely-available tools. I'm not
sure they all come with Cygwin, though. I think Mesa and XFree86 are
coming with cygwin now, but you might still need LessTif.
I'd go ahead and get the latest source from CVS. Its very good; we badly
need to roll a new tarball.
I don't see the SuperviseWindow problem on either my Cygwin or MSVC builds.
I think it must be a problem in the installation or in what DISPLAY is set
to.
