That was using your pre-compiled 4.1.1. I sent a message to OpenDX-users
list to see if others experienced that problem and got one reply that
said. "There may be some connection with this and the crashing of
server reported with the InsetImage module under Cygwin." I tried
the InsetImage module and it too crashed. I also did a very simple
network using SuperviseWindow and it also crashed. That is why
I was resolved to build it myself and debug the thing myself.

On the 4.1.0 it seemed to be picking some of both. I determined this by
looking at the errors and tracing my way back through the .h files to see
how things got set the way they did.

I just got the CVS from yesterday 20010220 and I will try it today.
I've built the latest lesstif and netcdf. I'm using a prebuild XFree4.0
which seems to come with the necessary libraries such as GL, etc.
I'm configureing --without-cdf --without-javadx --without-hdf because
I don't need much of that for my application.

Thanks for all the help.

Bill
