Thanks for the tips. However, I did installed the latest versions of autoconf (v2.58) and automake (v1.8) and followed the instruction on the compiling page as well as use the CVSMake script. I forget to mention that I am working on the DX-4.2.0 codes. Would that be the cause of the problem? The following is the output I got from running the CVSMake script:
