Suhaib,

I downloaded and installed the new binaries on my RH6.1 machine at home.
I played aroud a little going through the samples, but ran into a strange
error. I seem to remember some discussion of gif patent issues and the
gif code being removed from imagemagick binaries. The error I get is

ERROR: ReadImage: Operation not implemented: gif format has been removed
for legal reasons

when trying to run the TextureMapOpenGL.net sample network. I can
understand patent issues with writing gif files, but is there also issues
when writing code to read gif files? For the record I have installed the
following ImageMagick libraries:

ImageMagick-5.1.1-1.i386.rpm
ImageMagick-Magick++-5.1.1-1.i386.rpm
ImageMagick-devel-5.1.1-1.i386.rpm
ImageMagick-perl-5.1.1-1.i386.rpm

which I just downloaded from

http://www.wizards.dupont.com/cristy/

While I'm at it... does anyone happen to know if there is a way to change
the font size? I seem to remember some discussion about this and whether
it was due to lesstif, but can't remember the conclusion. Again for the
record I'm using

lesstif-0.89.9-1.i386.rpm

which I downloaded directly from the lesstif site.
