Tom, Thank you for the testing and the report. It turns out that that's DX's message, having nothing to do with formats supported (or not) by Image Magick. Currently OpenDX just uses Image Magick to write files of certain types, or of any type when asked. Converting ReadImage to use Image Magick for formats OpenDX does not support directly would be a useful contribution someone could make. Meanwhile a workaround (safely assuming that interest is not limited to the broken sample) is to use a utility such as IM's convert to make a format that OpenDX will read directly. Regards, Pete
