The precompiled binaries available from Opendx.org, for Windows, do not
support
SMP, because Cygwin is not SMP aware.

I had been working on a Windows version compiled with Intel Compilers which
might
support SMP.

You need to do a binary mount for Cygwin before you install and extract any
Tar.gz or tar.bz2 file.
