Marvin You should just be happy you got it to work the first time, I never did with Exceed 7 and switched to Winaxe. There are a few quirks involved with DX on Windows, and the speed aspect is one of them. I often find that I get that "underwater" feeling when I am using it on my Windows box. It has yet to crash on me, however, and I find that the delay is not scalable with the problem, so that large problems seem to work at the same speed as my RS6000 box. In other words the delay seems to be in "interpretation" rather than execution.
