Hi there, I got some problems when imported data through Prompter. After checked the list archives, I couldn't find any solution about it. So post the following questions here, hope experts can kindly give me some help.
I am using OpenDx 3.1.4 Window version under Cygwin/XFree86 on Windows 2000. Prompter works but 1)When I tried to import image file (e.g. TIFF), once clicked Visualize Data... button, the system was hung and the following message came out: Internal error detected at "E:\dx-msvc\dx\SRC\UIPP\PROMPTER\FileContents.c":152. .... abnormal program termination I searched my system, I didn't see either E:\dx-msvc directory or FileContents.c file, I don't know what's happen to this. 2)In the manual of "IBM Visualization Data Explorer QuickStart Guide", 3.3 Importing Data, example 1, I could import this data, but once clicked Test Import... button, the following message came out: Begin Execution Object Description: Input object is a Field, the basic data carrying structure in DX. There are 125 data items, each is of type float (4-byte or real*4). The positions are enclosed within the box defined by the corner points: [ 1 3 2 ] and [ 3 4.2 5.2 ] Data range is: minimum = 1, maximum = 5, average = 1.96 Input is not ready to be rendered because the Field does not have colors yet. Use the `AutoColor', `AutoGreyScale', or `Color' modules to add colors. ECHO: And I tried put AutoColor, but it didn't work. Also if click Visualize Data... button, the above problem (Q.1) happen again. So I want to know what's happen to this and how can I import data and immediately to check importing and preliminary visualization effect. Thank you very much. with regards, Tao
