So the combo of cygwin-1.3.17 and opendx-4.1.1-cygwin will work?
And another problem is that the tar for 4.1.1. seem to be nowhere on the net.

i think , you are trying to install opendx for windows , if that is so ,the readme ask to install 4.1.1-cygwin. try to find it anyother verson of cygwin will not work.
