Make sure to try software rendering. Hardware does not support volume rendering.

David

The volume rendering tutorial (paragraph 3.7 of the Quickstart Guide) has a few oddities in it. When I try to complete the final task---merging an isosurface image with the autocolour'ed volume, all I see is the cube of the volume; it completely obscures the isosurface. In addition, with the colour map I just see darkness, no matter what I do with the sliders in the colourmap editor. Now while volume rendering is not something I will use on a regular basis, I would still like to be able to see what the author of the Guide intended me to see. Can anyone provide tips on how to get it working properly?

Kind regards,
Maarten
