OpenDX will give you this sort of error when it cannot do its next
operation with the memory available. In your case its next operation needs
more than 167759304 bytes and so it will fail.
The way the DX data model is constructed means that you will need
significantly more memory to store a data field in memory for use by DX
than your data will take in an efficiently written regular mesh datafile.
The easy solution is to get more memory for your computer. The other
solution is to use reduce to make your data set take up less space.

Hi!
I have 1GB memory and want to load a regular mesh with 301 x 301 x 301
values. The datafile has a size of 332505803 Bytes,
I get the following error message:
ERROR:Import: Out of memory error: reached limit of 268435456 in large
arena
The "message window" for "show memory use" gives:
285212672 bytes total
117453368 in use
167759304 free
How can I tell OpenDX, that there is more memory available?
Starting the Program, I get the following messages: Warning: SOCKET
bufsize mismatch rcv (send) buffer (131070262140)
Thanks in advance, Bernd.
