Hi Bill, Thanks for the feedback. We all work very hard on making OpenEJB easy to use. 0.8 has really matured, 0.9 will be even better. Feel welcome to give us any constructive feedback on how to improve things further, we'll do our best to deliver.
Right now we are EJB 1.1 compliant. OpenEJB 0.8 through 1.0 will all be EJB 1.1 compliant. OpenEJB 2.0 will be EJB 2.1 compliant. We already have work in progress on 2.1 compliance. EJB 2.1 is backwards compliant with 2.0 and certain things like transactional Message-Driven Beans are actually easier in 2.1. We already have HTTP and Telnet connectors in progress which should make for some interesting MDBs. -David > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf > Of Bill Garrett > Sent: Tuesday, October 08, 2002 12:23 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [OpenEJB-user] EJB 2.0? > > > This might be the wrong list or a topic I somehow missed, but > the only statement on the matter I can find is ".. who want > EJB 1.1 compatibility".
