Hi Elvis,
I was pre-emptively researching this problem for you :-). Openembedded is looking in the wrong locations for your wget and git commands. Or in other words - OpenEmbedded does not have the same PATH variable as your shell environment. To find where the command is located. Type: which git Which returns: /usr/local/bin/git On my system Then add this line to your local.conf export PATH_append ="/usr/local/bin" for my example i.e. the bit in front of the git part. I have never used Mac OS X so this may not work. The other thing you can do directly edit the "export PATH_prepend = " line in the conf/bitbake.conf file. Hope that helps Malcolm P.S. I have to cut the bottom of the email to stop it bouncing - there's a 40KB limit on messages on this mailing list. ________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Elvis Dowson Sent: 03 December 2008 16:59 To: Using OE Subject: Re: How to setup Overo build environment on Mac OS X 10.5.5 Hi Malcom, I just installed wget-1.9 from source and it runs correctly on Mac OS X.
