Well, now that you've mentioned non-Python ports: I suggest that we agree on a general layout and specs of the standard Pythonic library and then replicate that in other languages (like Ruby, Java, PHP, Lisp, Haskell, Python-over-Ruby-over-Java-over-Android etc.) -- Say NO to spam and viruses.
