billing software question

Hi Walt, I have a question, We'd like to integrate openEMR with an accounting system, we are currently using Medisoft, but, if we have to do the work we better do it towards something open source. The functionality Medisoft offers is all the account tracking, payments, etc, etc, so we do the billing follow up there, then we also have quickbooks which are used by the controller to integrate the expenses, etc, so the idea is having all integrated, emr, accounting, billing -and the billing up- can you recommend any open source accounting system to look for integrating with?
