I don't have any slow connections, Tim. ;-)
However, on ADSL it is clearly faster for linux to linux (freenx_server) connections than VNC.
It's a little harder to tell for linux to freenx to a MS terminal server clone for rdp. Unfortunately, the automated connection does not work for my WinConnect server (MS TS clone). I am not sure if it the connection works seamlessly for a standard TS.
The possibility of having a Windows application appearing automagically on my Linux desktop remains, at least for the moment, an intriguing possibility.
