Hi Frank,

some additional questions:
- Did you use the latest openhpi version or is it 2.10 as mentioned inside the
tracker?
- Do you have the problem with several AMCs or is it with one card / one AMC
type?
- Did you try the AMC pull out and re-insertion in different Carrier Boards?

I'm wondering about the event flood coming from the AMC:
The following sensor sends each ms such an event:

2010.06.21 11:58:27.394 cIpmiSensor::HandleEvent OH_ET_HPI Event resource 140
2010.06.21 11:58:27.394 event:         RecordId                       = 74;

2010.06.21 11:58:27.394         Channel                        = 0;
2010.06.21 11:58:27.394         Lun                            = 1;
2010.06.21 11:58:27.394         Revision                       = 4;

2010.06.21 11:58:27.394         SensorNum                      = 0x20;
2010.06.21 11:58:27.394         EventDirection                 = Deassertion;
2010.06.21 11:58:27.394         EventReadingType               = Threshold;
2010.06.21 11:58:27.394         EventData1                     = 0x04;
2010.06.21 11:58:27.394         EventData2                     = 0xff;
2010.06.21 11:58:27.394         EventData3                     = 0xff;
..

Maybe, try to deactivate the sensor (in IPMI) and do the same test again.
I will have deeper look in the logfile in the next days.

Best Regards
   Lars
