Hi Bryan,

In the below link you have provided the "Copyright File" mentions about
GPLv2 also under other Copyrights ,

So please clarify me whether openHPI comes under GPLv2 Licensing also.

Since Original BSD type mentions need not be compatible to GPLv2 and
GPLv3,

And Modified BSD Type mentions as must be compatible to GPLv2 and GPLv3,

I wanted to make sure under which BSD type licensing does the openHPI
comes under.

OpenHPI is under a BSD-style license.  It can be found in the source
code, root directory, "COPYING" file.

The distributions that publish OpenHPI also have various vehicles to
report the license of the package.  One example is Debian:

        http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/openhpi

There is a "Copyright File" link in the right-hand column.
