Apologies, I thought I had answered the question when I said I believe I
am following the proper procedure. I believe you are now telling me
that the procedure is to have the BoD vote first, then the full
membership. I did not understand that to be the case. If that is
correct, I will delete the poll. Please confirm.

Hi John,

The policy is only one of two documents which make up the IPR policy.
The second is a process document which is missing (and was Mike's
question a few days ago).

You still haven't answered my question of why we're asking the
membership to vote on this document when the board hasn't approved it
yet.

Thanks,

--David

The link to the document is in the poll. The board saw was
copied on the document on August 11th.

But John, where are the documents being voted on? As the board
has not received a full copy of them, I do not understand how the
membership would have either. Additionally, why would we ask the
membership to vote on this change when the full board hasn't yet seen
it?

I'm a bit confused. Why is this being sent out to the
membership for a vote when the board hasn't yet approved it. I think
Mike asked for a copy of the latest documents a few days ago.
