Hi devs,
Cédric I Think the timeout need to be longer for not mobile browser. The
Google Service is slow on Firefox. You can test it here :

Hi devs,
the example is not working with Firefox-4.0b10pre as well. Even with
the suggested Google geolocation service Add-on installed...
The Add-on gives you the ability to store geolocation to use with the
API. The default geolocation is given by the Google Service. You have to
create eolocation in geolocater if you want to test API without Google
Service.

Hi,
Firefox uses Google geolocation service for the HTML5 Geolocation API,
but I don't really know why, the service doesn't work as well as for
Chrome.
If you really want to test the Geolocation API with Firefox you can use
Geolocater Add-on,
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/geolocater/ .
This add-on gives you the hability to manage you're geolocation on the
Web, position and precision.
You can test the Geolocation Control with it if you want.
