Thank you, this is an interesting datapoint. I've checked alsa-utils
now, and I see their rules file contains neither user/group names nor
permissions. Also, ALSA is Linux-specific itself.

So I tend to agree with Andreas here in that it seems OpenOCD already
does the right thing wrt the udev rules.
