I am not so sure how MSYS2/pacman works in this regard. With the pull request, it seems to me that libusb-usbdk packages (mingw32 or ming64 variants) will still be provide the libusb-1.0 API support but the user will only build either the standard libusb or libusb-usbdk version and not both. In that case, this seems to be fine.
