AFAICT, yes, if the end-user asks pacman to install libusb-usbdk, then
libusb will be automatically uninstalled, and vise versa. And every
package that depends on libusb should also be satisfied with
libusb-usbdk.

Regarding the build, no, running the build process will produce both
packages, and if this change is accepted, I would expect both regular
libusb and libusb-usbdk to appear in msys2 binary repositories
available for end-user to be installed right away, without any
building involved.

Please let us continue this discussion in the "github pull request"
comments so that Alexey is aware of your opinion on the matter as your
input as one of the libusb maintainers should be important for his
decision process, I think.
