Hello Rick, the 1825 works better than the 1827, take a look at the OpenOCD output. In case of the 1827 I got a "Error: JTAG communication failure" first.
Attached are the log and cfg files. Tested under Windows with a FT2232 device (JTAGkey) and a LPC2294 cpu.
