Hello list,

we should try to stabilize the functionality of OpenOCD.
For me it looks that in the last time a lot of functionality
was changed, and these was tested only on one target/interface.
This is not a charge, it is normal if the developer had only
one target for testing.

But if I start a smoketest, I have problems that one target is
working, and one not. After this the most time I need to binary
search which version was working, and at which version the problem
start.

You are to fast of starting new features/updates to the SVN.

Best regards,

Michael

At this point we are not introducing new features or functionality to SVN. We _are_ taking a fair number of patches to fix bugs and restructure code. These should have little impact on smoke tests. It is certainly true that much of the testing has been on a single target/ interface. I believe we are past the large batches of code cleanup and don't expect any other large batches of patches. In other words, we have been working to stabilize and this week's flurry of activity is the last batch that should happen until 0.2.0 is released. Everything past this point should be focused on making sure the majority of interfaces and targets are working properly.
