You should just use the "Reply All" option; that's how to issue public replies to mailing list posts. If the list forced a "Reply-To" then it'd be really painful to issue private "just to the author" replies. > > Hello David, > > Monday, February 1, 2010, 11:06:41 PM, you wrote: > > DB> It's come to my attention that at least current versions of NXP's > DB> "LPCXpresso" [1] ($US 30) might include a candidate for this. > [...] > DB> One question is whether they've tried to lock down that board > DB> to "blessed" firwmare images -- crypto-sealed by someone. > DB> If they have, this kind of project wouldn't work. Have an LPCxpresso in hand, I guess; otherwise you might not know that file name... > Also, NXP said that LPC-Link is supposed to be > used only with the LPCXpresso IDE: > http://knowledgebase.nxp.com/showpost.php?p=250&postcount=2 Such policies can generally be changed. I can understand they would want to safeguard investments they, and their partners, have made. But such safeguards shouldn't need to last forever. Plus, ISTR that IDE doesn't run on Linux. :( - Dave _______________________________________________ Openocd-development mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/openocd-development
