Then I guess you have never build a calling card system with a Cisco :-) TCL is used as the "Dialplan language" on cisco for any type of call origination that is more complex than can be handled with a "dial-peer" config. You can play IVR prompts and do arbitrary radius/tacacs AAA on the responses (As well as things like DID and CLID) using TCL on any cisco that supports VoIP. The IVR prompts (and TCL scripts) can be saved locally on the cisco's flash or can be sucked from a tftp at will.
