If you look at the source tree some things unable to make Asterisk due to licensing have been added and been worked on. Chan_exosip/automake/transition to SpanDSP for DSP functions/Parts of T38 etc. Unfortunately since many of us work on this as time permits it hasn't been finish up to the point where it can be released as a tarball for general consumption. No end user is going to learn SVN just to download the sourcecode that's a give.
This thread was created to address the status and desire/goals moving forward. Since the end of 05 to now things have slowed drasticly due to day jobs/holidays etc. This has caused the project lead Marc Olivier Chouinard to look for someone to be in charge of getting the first release out the door. I personally have offered to take such role both privately and publicly on this thread. Nothing definative that I know of has been decided at this junction. So best to wait and see. -- William GMANE Thread: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.telephony.pbx.openpbx.devel/166 (Link to an archieve that has a threaded view of all posts regarding this subject) _______________________________________________ Openpbx-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openpbx.org/mailman/listinfo/openpbx-dev
