For me, this means lossless FLAC codec, 24bit, 96kHz. I have no use
for interfacing to anything but SIP, really.

I moved to freeswitch because it's more likely for me to be able to
write a module supporting my requirements, but freeswitch is not able
to run realtime (POSIX 1.e realtime extensions), atm.

I basically need to run SIP conferences for jamming and inet shows
("radio").

I came from asterisk, so I know openPBX supports POSIX 1.e, but will
it move to support "REAL VOIP"?, which is definitely not 8kHz;).

I'm also feeling bad about freeswitch not being able to include solid
GPL libraries in the core.
