Hi,
I am new on this list and I have used some years hylafax to send and receive
faxes.
Now I am looking for a new system to add some other services, like
answer-machine, conferencing, callback, voip etc.
I found some hints on the webpage why openpbx is better than Asterisk.
But please inform me - what is better on Asterisk and what is missing on
openpbx? Especially in relation to the services I like to use.
Can I use openpbx and hylafax for the faxservices on the same hardware?
I have not found enough information about the faxservice on openpbx.
On Asterisk I cannotdo so.
But fax-service is very important for me because I have some hundred clients
and hylafax has a lot of options and logfiles i need for faxservice.
What hardware is the best for 1x or 2x E1 connections?
In Germany I have a primux card for one PMA (is like E1 I think ?!?). Do
anybody know, whether this works with openpbx?
I am very happy for any hint to get the right decision - openpbx or Asterisk.
