I had much fun playing with mod_perl last night, with only a moderate
quantity of success. I've realised too that uWinnipeg have updated their
package (the one I hacked originally) to the lastest perl, and the latest
mod_perl, and they include several useful libraries such as libwww, tk,
gd, obdc etc.

I'll give it a whirl later on, but I thought that if it's about, being
mantained and has added value, how about pulling it apart and giving it a
friendly installer to fit in with OpenSA? After my teething troubles the
compilation I used before has been very robust under Win95, and I've had
_no_ crashes or upsets from it.

Also, re mod_throttle - Daniel, how does DSO (?) work? Is it done by the
Apache includes? mod_throttle comes with instructions showing how to
compile it in - is it a lot of effort to make it into a DSO module? Also,
mod_perl has Apache::Throttle - those who need throttling may wish to try
this (excellent phrasing I thought)
