that is technically not feasible - at least german passports have random 
serials etc. so the only data that can be used for identifiying is only 
available after basic authentication based on MRZ. I see way too much fud 
without proper knowledge about rfid on the net, so lets stick to the facts on 
this list.

that doesn't make me a fan of rfid passports. you could snoop all transactions 
happening at a control point 7+m away for example, that wouldn't be nice.
and of course for the problem it claims to solve, it is by far too expensive 
as solution, the alternatives like 2dimensional bar codes would have been 
nice as well and much, much, much cheaper. and less complex by far!
