ok, so copy sounds much better. but a copy wouldn't make the chaos smaller, I guess lots of consolidation, rewriting, updating, etc. is also necessary? and what about the per project documentation? if we stop using a wiki per project for the documentation we ship with each package, we need to replace that with something. what is your plan here?
