I published OpenSC 0.12.2-rc1. Download links and related information is available from PreReleases wiki page [1]. The process for releases (incl. release candidates) got some documentation in the wiki [2] as well, feel free to review it and help to improve it (there's one small script that does some of the lifting [3]). Ideally the release manager role could rotate (given that the procedure is relatively easy and repeatable), so that there would be yet one more independent "think and review" stage by different people. And to avoid the bus factor of course.
