I'm all for it. That's what I was thinking for SF with you, me and Carsten for
OpenSG2 and Johannes, Patrick and somebody else from Darmstadt for 1.

Ok, let's talk about it.
I would like to use git as it makes submitting patches very easy and through
github almost automated. I'm also thinking about moving more docs into the
repo,
which would benefit from easy additions/patches (more about that later). It
would probably also help the 1.x faction to coordinate their stuff more
flexibly.
