Hello again,

First of all, thanks for the quick reply and changes.
I checked out and compiled (again) today with gv-beta.
Unfortunately I cant see a modulation effect when setting a material.
Textures are applied always in REPLACE mode...

I am not setting a light in the VRML file, but use only the SceneManager light, may that be a problem ?

normally not, I'll have a look, but it might take a short amount of time
as I have to recompile this loader.

ok, looking at the code was enough. It seems to be a bug of the loader,
is there a reason you switched ??. I'll try to fix this as soon as
possible. Hope you can stay with the old loader until than.
I switched to the experimental, beacuse the standard loader doesnt't handle transparent .png right (no transpareny...)? Or is my student doing something wrong ? ;) And what about LOD?

So i would be really happy to see the exp loader handling lit and unlit materials!

Thanks,
        Daniel

A priest and a rabbi operated a church and a synagogue across the
street from each other.
Since their schedules intertwined, they decided to go in together to
buy a car. So they did.
They drove it home and parked it in the street between their establishments.

A few minutes later, the rabbi looked out and saw the priest
sprinkling water on their new car. It didn't need a wash,
so he ran out and asked the priest what he was doing. "I'm
blessing it" the priest replied.

The rabbi replied "Oh," then he ran back into the synagogue. He
reappeared a few minutes later with a hack saw, ran to the car and cut
off the last 2 inches of the tailpipe.
