What Andreas is trying to tell you here (without saying it), is that now
might be a good time to think about switching to GLSL. ;)
In general I prefer GLSL over CG. For political reasons, but also
because it's better supported on multiple platforms (like ATI) than CG.
Yes, you can get to ARB_vp and ARB_fp from CG, but at that level you
need very different programs to get good performance for nVidia and ATI.
Give the high-level description to the compiler, and it will do the
optimization in the best way for the chip in question.
