Hello, it seems that this whole multi-indexing discussion is an ideological discussion, because there are no real strong arguments for multi-indexing or against multi-indexing. Therefore, to stop that fruitless diskussion, I would like to ask the project leader to make a decision. Concluding, I just would like to mention that
- we have a working multi-indexing implementation. - it is no problem to convert a multi-indexed geometry to a single-indexed-geometry, but the other way is quite expensive. - it is quite easy to integrate the proposed changes into the multi-indexing implementation.
