I took it out. The reason to put it in were problems with dynamically
loaded OpenSG libraries (e.g. from a python module). For some reason glx
is not loaded correctly, so that OpenSG can't find getProcAddress and
therefore none of the extensions work. But if we can't make it work
reliably, there's no point in keeping it.
