Most people answer to the list (that's the default configuration of GNU

Yeah, SF's mail archive is fairly bad. You can also search it at
http://www.mail-archive.com/opensg-users%40lists.sourceforge.net/, which is
much
more current.

We're fairly informal, so that is nothing to worry about. Your post was a
little
short on details (especially a stack trace of the exception is necessary to say
anything useful), and there are not many people that use QT4, so there might
just not be anybody that was a good solution for you. Sorry. :(
I think the best way is going to a PassiveWindow, that has been known to work
well, especially since you're not using the SSM for navigation that should be
fairly easy.
