Ok, I setup a batch file to do the entire test suite last night, but
something happened where I only got a few results. I'll try again tonight.

Here are the results I received:

----------------------------------------
tie243 (729k)
----------------------------------------
OSG: 44.9264 / 60.4408 // stutters
OpenSG: 1757.0 / 60.5609 // fps varies between 59-62fps
VRML: 35.265 / 42.9546 // OpenSG VRML file

----------------------------------------
tie486 (1.5m)
----------------------------------------
OSG: 105.645s / 45.8042 // stutters
OpenSG: 9858.33s / 29.4957
VRML: 83.475s / 20.0836 // OpenSG VRML file

I'm a little surprised to see the large performance drop with VRML files.
(Vsync is off)

Hi Eric

Have you change anything in the applications? My results remain the
same, although I turned "sync to vblank" of in the garphics card
driver menu. (Nvidia GForce 6200 TurboCache)

I will try the optimisations proposed by Matthias in the next days.

I get Warinings like : "Invalid d entry in ./tie.mtl" when loading the
obj files with OpenSG, but they work fine nevertheless. You might try
deleting the d entries, as they are surplus anyway (all set to 1).

I'm very interested in the results you achieved with the bigger models.

Cheers,
Daniel.

P.S.: Which Operating System do you use?
