Hi Simon,

the vbo code is a bit limited it works only as a display list 
replacement. Just walk over all your Geometry cores and call 
geo->setVbo(true) that's all. To get full speed you should create single 
indexed GL_TRIANGLE lists with cache optimized indices.
It is not optimized for dynamic geometry yet but it should be much 
faster than display lists.
