Hello OpenSG users,
I have a problem with our cluster setup (Win7, OSG2, Nvidia 285 with driver
v285, Intel Corei7, Multicast network connection):
The start of the cluster is slowed down a lot by the first frame draw. I can
see network traffic in the beginning (syncing the scene graph) and after
that it takes 3 min to draw the first frame!
If I load the same scene on a single window OSG app it starts after a few
sec.
So, now I wonder what happens at the servers when drawing the first frame.
any idea why it takes that long?
PS: I deactivate view frustum culling for the first frame to init all the
textures at start time, so it seems that the traffic to the graphics
hardware is very slow, or is it something else?
